Alienazione genitoriale: bibliografia

Nel 2010 un gruppo internazionale di studiosi coordinato da William Bernet (membro del Department of Psychiatry, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Nashville, Tennessee) ha pubblicato l’articolo “Parental Alienation, DSM-V, and ICD-11”, che contiene una ricognizione bibliografica molto completa (oltre 600 titoli).

Più recentemente, nel 2015, il nuovo sito italiano www.alienazioneparentale.it ha pubblicato una nuova versione della bibliografia internazionale che supera i 1200 titoli. Il lavoro di classificazione è confluito poi nel database del Vanderbilt University Medical Center che permette una ricerca filtrata per campi, tra cui quello della nazionalità.

L’articolo del 2010 è stato inoltrato agli organismi competenti a sostegno della richiesta di inclusione dell’alienazione parentale nel DSM-5 e nel ICD11, che sono i due sistemi di classificazione dei disturbi psichiatrici riconosciuti a livello internazionale.

ll DSM-5 è stato pubblicato nel maggio 2013, e come ha spiegato il prof Bernet in una sua intervista contiene una descrizione del problema relazionale in passato definito come “sindrome di alienazione parentale” o semplicemente “alienazione parentale”. Non è vero quindi che la PAS è stata esclusa dal DSM-5 come sentenziano alcuni professionisti consulenti di parte dei genitori alienanti. Anzi, la traduzione italiana del DSM-5 (pubblicata nell’aprile 2014) include proprio la locuzione “sentimenti non giustificati di alienazione” nella descrizione del “problema relazionale genitore-figlio”.

L’articolo di Bernet rappresenta la migliore sintesi sul complesso della letteratura scientifica in tema di PAS attualmente esistente (mentre ad oggi l’elenco di titoli più completo attualmente disponibile è quello pubblicato dal sito www.alienazioneparentale.it ).

L’articolo è corredato da una ampia bibliografia di oltre 600 titoli, la cui ampiezza riflette e dimostra l’esistenza di un vasto interesse su questa materia da parte degli studiosi.
La bibliografia qui riportata include ulteriori libri, capitoli di libri e articoli pubblicati su riviste in materia di salute mentale e professione legale.

La maggior parte dei lavori citati concerne direttamente l’alienazione parentale o PAS. Qualcuno degli articoli citati  è invece relativo a materie strettamente correlate come la violenza in famiglia, l’abuso dei minori, e la ricerca metodologica. Nel suo complesso questa bibliografia contiene più di 630 citazioni. Crediamo che si tratti della più grande bibliografia mai pubblicata sull’alienazione parentale. Comprende più di 200 libri e capitoli di libri che riguardano direttamente l’alienazione parentale o argomenti strettamente correlati come il divorzio o l’affido dei figli. La bibliografia comprende più di 300 articoli di riviste professionali che riguardano direttamente l’alienazione parentale o argomenti strettamente correlati.     una persona che si qualifica come esperto sostiene (parole testuali): “sulla famigerata PAS ce ne sono a iosa e tutte dimostrano inequivocabilmente che è una grossa bufala, definita da illustri psichiatri statunitensi pseudo-scienza o scienza spazzatura. Questa definizione è una pietra tombale sulla PAS, nel senso che nessuna istituzione seria di ricerca, nessun ricercatore serio si mette a fare ricerche su cose già definite come scienza spazzatura.”
    Certo che è francamente incredibile che si possano fare affermazioni così totalmente infondate di fronte ad una blbliografia come quella citata qui sopra.

    Se invece si segue il link segnalato dal commentatore negazionista si scopre che queste “dimostrazioni inequivocabili” sono una decina di articoli eterogenei, i più scritti in passato da avvocati americani che cercavano di screditare le controparti. Altro che metodo scientifico…
